There are so many free website makers available out there. Why should I hire a web designer when I can do it myself?
If I told you that you could make $10,000 by investing $5,000, would you do it? What about $20,000? What if I told you a website would cost $100,000, but it would make you $500,000 - would you take that deal? Hypothetically, if you were a housing contractor with an average client job making $5000, then a website that converts 5 clients a month is more over $25,000 in potential sales versus a website that converts 0 clients.
The point is: there are so many options available now that it is totally possible to make a website yourself. You could also jump on Fiverr and have someone make one for you at a very, very low price. At the end of the day, I encourage you to look at the website purchase decision as an investment and ask your web designer, or even yourself: what could I be gaining, or even potentially losing, by not investing in a solid website?

We could, but here’s the thing: I want you and your business to succeed. To do that, we need to understand a few key areas, such as the competitive landscape, your core message, your differentiating factors, your overall online presence health status, and even what the next 3-12 months look like for your marketing. THIS is what will lead you to success - a proven system to get you customers. Starting with website design first without understanding this key areas is like trying to conduct open heart surgery without a plan or procedure: except, in this case, your business is the heart and the web designer is the doctor.
